With its new building at Bürgermeister-Ackermann-Straße 20, Wohnbaugruppe Augsburg is getting a completely new, moving interior design – realized by WAGNER Living as a complete outfitter. After almost a century at its previous location in Schuberthof, this move marks a new chapter for the WBG. The modern building on the former German-American fairground was constructed in around three years and now dominates the cityscape as the tallest building in the district, directly on one of Augsburg’s most important access roads. It also commemorates Friedrich Ackermann, the founding father of the housing group.
The WBG relied entirely on WAGNER Living for the interior design. As experts in dynamic seating and flexible interior design, we provided innovative solutions for the workplace. Our contribution includes, for example, the furnishing of over 100 tables, more than 600 sideboards as well as a variety of carpets, lighting installations from our partner Vibia and, of course, various types of chairs. Whether lounge areas, canteens, desk workstations or stools – thanks to our unique expertise in the field of long-lasting seating pleasure, we were able to help the WBG as a competent partner to enable its employees and visitors to sit in a way that is easy on their backs in the long term. In this way, we create a modern, functional and inspiring working environment that meets the demands of a contemporary working environment.
