D2 – German Design Award WINNER 2022

Right at the beginning of 2022, the new S2 chair model (design: Sven von Boetticher) and the D2 shelving system (design: Stefan Diez) convinced the expert jury of the German Design Council. But also the already launched W-Club series scores with its design by Rainer Bachschmid and also receives the German Design Award 2022.

A sustainable furniture system for the future

“D2” is a parametric furniture system consisting primarily of aluminium or cardboard honeycomb panels, the only purely recyclable panel materials. Combined with specially developed connectors and profiles, shelves, tables and room dividers can be formed that are connected to each other without tools and can be easily dismantled. With the help of a configurator, these can be planned to measure and manufactured together with local companies that also guarantee service and recycling.
