This concept is about building an infrastructure that brings local craftsmen, architects and customers into contact with each other; transport and storage costs are to be optimised. Local craftsmen later take over the production and assembly of the furniture. In the end, the aim is to recycling of the furniture is to be achieved.

First case study at MIRKO BORSCHE in Munich
In autumn 2019 graphic designer Mirko Borsche discovered a former kebab restaurant in Paul-Heyse-Street in Munich. The premises were marked by the former restaurant, but had enough charm to fire Mirko Borsche’s imagination.
Munich’s old building was to be completely gutted and renovated and the new studio of BUREAU BORSCHE was to be located in the immediate vicinity of Munich’s main train station
